MVCS offers choir as an elective art class for high school and middle school students. All elementary grades have choir as part of their weekly class time. In addition, MVCS hosts special choir performances at the end of each quarter. Elementary Music has several programs throughout the year.
Art
MVCS offers several art electives for high school and middle school students. Art-based projects are incorporated into activities for all elementary students.
Band
MVCS has several bands as part of the Fine Arts elective courses for students at varying levels of musical skill (beginner, intermediate and advanced). MVCS hosts special band performances at the end of each quarter.
Theatre Arts
Secondary students have an extra-curricular drama production that is presented each semester.
Praise & Worship Teams
Students on praise and worship teams are responsible for leading music at weekly chapels for middle school and high school.

SLS is an opportunity for students to demonstrate servant leadership to their peers by helping to meet various needs around campus throughout the school year. This teacher-sponsored, student-led organization is open to all high school students who are interested in applying.
NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY (NHS)
Each year juniors and seniors are invited to apply for membership. Students inducted into the NHS must meet specific academic and character-based requirements.
SPANISH CLUB
The MVCS Spanish Club strives to encourage students’ interest in Spanish language and culture through cultural events, fun games, potlucks, competitions, and other activities.
Community Service is incorporated into many aspects of our program. Students are encouraged to seek out organizations and individuals to offer help without the expectation of recognition.
Each year the entire student body participates in the annual Serve-A-Thon fundraiser, an opportunity to give back to the Las Cruces community while raising support for the school.
